Chapter 1:

• If you have the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Education Core (#45544) set instead of the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Home Edition (#31313), visit this page for more information about the difference between the two sets, and which parts you need to “upgrade” one set to the other.
• This chapter briefly mentions line following tracks that you can download and print. See the links under Chapter 7 for more details.
• Several official apps exist for LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3:
  • Robot Commander: Control your robot with a smartphone or tablet.
  • 3D Builder: Build the five official EV3 robots using 3D building instructions on a tablet.
