Please note that there is quiet a difference in the two versions of Lego Mindstorms EV3 models Education & Retail ( like Lego Mindstorms NXT 2 9797 ( education ) and Lego Mindstorms NXT 2 8547 ( Retail ) , I have downloaded part list PDF from http://www.legoeducation.us site but unable to get the part list for the Retail version to a take decision on what to buy. Please post the components – part list for Retail so that it will help a lot of serious builders.
I will do once LEGO releases such list. Please be patient, it’s still at least 6 months until it comes out.
Thank you Laurens , Kindly note Lego Mindstorms NXT 1 , Lego Mindstorms NXT 2 9797 & NXT 2 8547 kits have certain Technic elements unique to these kit , if a development kit is made available where all Technic elements not common to all the above mentioned kits, then a serious builders will have an opportunity to build many more robots. Please suggest a way out.
